Each piece of information serves a specific purpose:
Parent/Guardian Name and Contact Information are used so we can communicate with you regarding lessons, scheduling, billing, and other important updates.
Student Name allows us to properly identify the student and communicate with them by name.
Student Age helps our teachers choose the most appropriate teaching methods, lesson plans, and books.
Instrument allows us to assign the appropriate teacher.
Level of Experience helps the teacher prepare lessons that match the student's current abilities.
Home Address is kept for billing purposes and, when necessary, shipping or mailing important materials.
Preferred Lesson Day and Time helps us schedule lessons.
School Type (Public, Private, or Homeschool) helps us determine scheduling availability during daytime hours.
Health, Allergy, or Accommodation Information is completely optional and is only used to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment when needed.
We only collect the information necessary to operate our music school and provide you with the best experience possible.
Photos & Video
Throughout the year, we may take photographs and videos during lessons, recitals, performances, special events, or other activities for promotional purposes.
We will never publish or publicly share any identifiable photograph or video of a student without the prior consent of that student's parent or legal guardian.
Parents will be given the opportunity to approve or decline media permission during the enrollment process, and their preference will always be respected.
Security Cameras
Our facility is equipped with security cameras, including inside lesson rooms and common areas, for the safety and protection of our students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Camera recordings are used only for security, and the safety of our students and teachers. Footage is not used for anything else, and access to this footage is reserved strictly to the owner.
Payments
Online payments are securely processed through Wix Payments.
Parents may pay using any payment method supported through the Wix payment portal, including debit cards, credit cards, PayPal, and other payment options offered by Wix.
We do not have access to your full credit card or payment information. Once payment information is entered into Wix, it is securely stored by Wix as your AutoPay method and cannot be viewed by our staff.
If a parent requests a custom payment arrangement that requires payment information to be collected manually, that information is stored securely on an encrypted IronKey Secure USB vault and is only accessible by authorized management personnel.
Sharing Your Information
Your information stays with us.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with anybody for any marketing or advertising purposes.
Your Rights

Children Information

Orange County Music Academy does not knowingly collect any information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will promptly take steps to delete the information.
